The Mia Tui Lottie Bag; A Pawsome Bag for Dog Walking too!
The Mia Tui Lottie Bag; more than just a great everyday ‘grab & go bag
… A Pawsome Bag for Dog Walking too!
Walking the dog can be a relatively uneventful occasion, or sometimes, it can involve every type of scenario you could possibly imagine!
To cover every eventuality, I tend to carry some essentials with me on every walk (although this may just be a girl thing, as my husband will head out with just a pocket full of poo sacks!)
This is what I usually carry along;
- Poo bags (multiple!)
- A lightweight umbrella (the weather changes so quickly on a dog walk – and usually involves rain!)
- Ball (and a spare) – usually very muddy!
- Phone
- Keys
- Dog treats (a handy enticement!)
- Antiseptic hand gel
- Sting relief and plasters
- Wipes
- Dog lead
- Pen & bits for Geocaching (a favourite with the kids)
Now, to carry this little lot, I need a lightweight bag. Over the years I have tried several. Each has served its purpose, but has never really been ideal.
However when I was about to head out to walk in really heavy downpour recently, I was struck by a genius idea!
As I was about to the leave the house, and was thinking ‘how can I get the dog walking bag under my coat to keep it dry’, I saw my Mia Tui Lottie bag sat on the side. Now, as we all know, Mia Tui fabric is waterproof, inside and out, pawfect for a rainy day walk!
Having transferred the contents of my bag, I headed off out – I haven’t changed the bag since!
Although not specifically designed for dog owners, the Lottie bag is perfect! It has enough room to store all of the above, and as it can be worn cross body, it allows easy access to poo bags etc when needed, and is also completely waterproof inside and out, meaning all your essentials will stay dry, and mud from dirty balls and dogs can simply be wiped away.
The handy zip pocket on the front of the bag allows easy storage/access for wipes, phone etc. And you can even hang the lead from the D ring at either side of the bag, allowing you to be hands free.
