Back On The Health and Fitness Wagon - Step 2 Out of 10 - Keeping It Simple!

So in step 1 we looked at finding your why! Once you have a very clear WHY and purpose then you are ready to start making a plan to get there.

When we embark on a new journey it isn’t uncommon to set off from the starting blocks with all guns a blazing.

Like an athlete would, you will get exhausted before the end of the race. So it’s best to pace yourself so you can move forwards at a steady and consistent pace.

So how do I do that..?

Break down your new year goals into manageable chunks. Sticking to 1 or 2 changes at a time before moving on to the next. So write down you PERFECT list and PERFECT day. Picture it in your head!

Now set about choosing 1 or 2 things from that list to commit to changing. Think about what barriers you have to making the changes and think of the solutions to how you can break the barriers down.

Look at this is an exciting challenge and look forward to the experience of learning.

Embrace the journey with optimism rather than as a difficult process and you suddenly find yourself LOVING your new way of living!
