Meet Di - Our Cruise Queen Extraordinaire! ✨ 30 Days, 25 Cruises, and One Bag Lady We Adore 🌴👜

From Singapore to Tokyo with Love (and a LOT of Bags)

Let us introduce you to Di, a fabulous Mia Tui customer, devoted cruiser, and the kind of woman who could probably pack a suitcase in her sleep.

She recently returned from a 30-day cruise (yes, 30 days!) from Singapore to Tokyo, sailing through Borneo, Brunei, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines,  ticking off destinations that had long been on her bucket list.

With husband Mark recently retired, Di’s cruises are getting longer, and, by the sound of it, even more fabulous.

“We missed the kids, grandkids and especially the dog 😂… but it was an amazing trip!

This wasn’t her first cruise (far from it), it was her 25th, no less!

What started as a 25th wedding anniversary adventure became a full-on passion.

Di’s now the kind of traveller who knows exactly what to pack, where to go, and most importantly, which Mia Tui bags are coming along for the ride.

“Cruising has everything: different countries to explore, relaxing sea days, great food, fabulous shows, and friends you haven’t met yet.

It’s our favourite kind of holiday.”

💬Pro Tip from Di: “Always pack your swimwear, makeup, chargers and a change of clothes in your Sydney – just in case your suitcase arrives fashionably late!”

👜 What was in Di's cruise collection?

  • Sydney + Expander-LITE: Perfect carry-ons for long-haul flights and embarkation day.

  • Alex: For lazy pool days

  • Zara  The dream bag for onshore exploring (more on that in part two!).

  • Chelsea & Isobel: For dinners & formal nights

And the one that stays closest to her heart? Quite literally, her Emma crossbody.

I love my Emma. When I’m wandering around on shore, it sits close to my chest so I feel safe and hands-free. It’s discreet but still fits my essentials.”

We’ve only scratched the surface of Di’s packing genius… In Part 2, she’s spilling all the secrets — from her Packing Cube system to which Mia Tui bag gets the bathroom counter to itself.
Don’t miss it — coming soon!
