Mia Tui Spring/Summer Style

Some of you may have seen our recent posts on Facebook and Instagram featuring some of our Spring/Summer Stone handbags. To continue with this theme, the team felt it may be interesting to do a blog series featuring our new colours with some High Street clothes that are available to all.

This week we are concentrating on our neutral Stone colour. So many colours sit well with Stone but we chose a denim casual look and a more formal work/occasion look.

Stone is available in the Mini Jen, Olivia, Jane, Megan, Matilda Mae, Molly and Lily. Really gives a great choice for lots of different uses. The Mini Jen great for travelling or work. Olivia a great everyday shoulder bag, Jane, ideal for smart or casual occasions, Lily, a great evening bag…. the list goes on!

For our first foray into the world of styling, we had a fun afternoon high street shopping. As mentioned, Stone sits well with a whole range of colours but we thought we would give two very different looks.

Who doesn’t feel good in a pair of comfortable dark Jeans?  Easy to dress up or down, so that’s where we started. In Next we found a wide range of Jeans which cater for all our different sizes and shapes. We were also quite surprised to see an old favourite; the bootleg style seems to be making a comeback! We found some great dark navy jeans that are more flattering than the lighter denim options.

Next has a great Spring Summer colour range, we opted for a red and cream linen tunic style top and orange and a cream stripy t-shirt with detailing on the capped sleeve. We found some fab little ballet style pumps in navy and cream and orange and cream that just shouted out at us to complete the look!

 We then moved on to good old Marks and Spencer. The beautiful pink Spring coat we chose is just gorgeous and again lends itself well to dressing for an occasion, work or a more casual look teamed with jeans. We found a pair of classic navy suede court shoes with a sensible heel to give an elegant air to any look and a great horizontal striped stretchy knee length skirt that works so well with the coat we couldn’t ignore it!

When we got everything back to Mia Tui HQ and laid out everything ready for the photo shoot, the Stone bags looked perfect with everything. A neutral colour like Stone can sometimes get overlooked by bolder colours but we feel it is a great wardrobe staple for the coming Spring Summer season.
